innovation.jpgWhitesburg, Georgia – American Adventure Park Systems is set to build eco-friendly zip line canopy tours in multiple Alabama state parks. The zip line canopy tours will increase revenue production during a time of uncertainty for multiple Alabama State Parks, and will provide opportunities for environmental education.

American Adventure Park Systems, builders of eco-friendly zip line canopy tours, believes that building zip line canopy tours in Alabama state parks will be able to boost revenue production for the state park system. With over 30 years of zip line construction and management experience, American Adventure Park Systems is the top partner for Alabama State Parks to build and manage the zip line canopy tours.

Zip line canopy tours were first developed for the most ecological sensitive areas in the world. They can cause less environmental impact than building a walking trail. Zip line canopy tours provide access to sensitive environmental areas with minimal environmental impact.

81% of Alabama state park operational expenses comes from user fees, according to a 2010 report produced by Alabama State Parks. “Destinations need a variety of recreational activities to attract new and reoccurring visitors, as well as produce new revenue streams,” said Tim Banks, sales manager for American Adventure Park Systems. “We know that zip line canopy tours can achieve these goals. Zip line canopy tours are a fun, safe, and exciting way to introduce people to the outdoors, while causing a minimal environmental impact, allowing for both conservation and education.”

Based on the strength of experience, American Adventure Park Systems is a specialist in adventure park design, construction, and management. AAPS is the builder of the world’s largest zip line canopy course, Screaming Eagle Eco Zip Line Canopy Tours, found at Historic Banning Mills. American Adventure Park Systems is led by Mike Holder, retired Army Ranger, Special Operations.
